Yellow is pretty similar to white... on the rear of a vehicle that is the color reserved for backup lights. Could this cause uneducated drivers to potentially fear the person in front of them is getting ready to put their car in reverse? I could see that confusion causing an accident as the person behind you violently lays on the breaks when you start to coast... potentially causing people behind him to rear end the uneducated driver.

I do like the concept... just wondering if a different color might be more appropriate.

At first I was wonder what you were talking about, but adding yellow tail lights would be an excellent idea, however you have to take into account vehicles that have amber turn signals. I like the concept, though!
